What's New In Equipment Maintenance Control Version 3.0?
There are over 40 New features and improvements to V3.0. Many of the requests we have received from registered customers are now incorporated in this release.

All the windows have been redesigned for better access and usability. The Help files are now in a HTML or WEB Page Format that gives the user better access with search capabilities to the information you need not a confusing list of words from within an assembly of help topics. The HTML pages we present are tied to specific parts of the application as is intended in context sensitive help but, may still be searched incrementally.
Now available is the ability to associate employees with equipment that they are qualified
to work on.
Pictures of the equipment listed on the main browse can be associated
with that entry.
Save data specific to divisions and locations and filter the Main Browse by Location,and Category and Make as well as view "In Service" and "Not in Service"records
Quick Print what is displayed in the browse by the filter that has been chosen.
An Administration Panel has been added to provide you with a central area to maintain lists of Departments, Employees, Vendors, Parts and other information to be maintained for easy access within your forms in Equipment Maintenance Control.

In V2.83.
Changed the Memo Fields on Notes for Equipment Record, Specific Service List, Date of
Servicing list and Services Done List to display the same kind of view that displays in
WordPad and most word processors. This enables you to save and print your notes for
specific equipment in RTF or TXT format without a restriction on the amount of data you
wish to enter.
When saving if you click the OK button, your text and any changes will be saved in the
default area for this data set. To save as a .rtf or .txt file in your default word
processor click on the diskette icon for Save As. Right Click on the help button of each
above mentioned windows to display a message regarding the new format.
Removed color options from Settings Menu. We may replace in next major version if there
are requests for different colors (skins).
Moved Tool Tips to Settings Menu. double click to turn On/Off.
Fixed bug in date field for warranty report on all equipment.
In 2.82...
Changed Purchase/Register link in Help Menu to work properly. This was a call to an
external application. Modified appearance of some screens for smoother transition between
displays. Modified the install file.
Resolved problems in Version 2.75
Added backup utility to File Menu. Save data files to a .zip file anywhere. The date and
the time are part of the filename created. You can make more than one backup per day
and always know the newest file.
Added functionality to Rights List to restrict change (and or) delete for users
administration may not wish to have those privileges. (Multi User Version).
Fixed the problem on Date of Servicing List that scrolled to display to 4 entries when
entering legacy data.
On Settings For A Specific Service added a field to enter Estimated Time To Complete
This service and on the form for Service Done Record added a field for Actual Repair Time.
These 2 values have been added as new columns in the Services Done List Browse and
give the user the ability to define benchmarks for repair times or follow manufactures
established outlines.

Extended length of fields on browses and forms to allow longer entries.
Improved registration process for single and multi-user registration.
Added display of registered users name to application frame and about screen under the
Help Menu .Added display of user logged in. (Multi User Version).
Restricted access to Settings Menu for non-administrative users (Multi User Version).
